Nokia E71 smartphone is another new device supported by this great free VoIP application. A few days ago Fring team also announced support of Samsung i550w smartphone. Nokia Chat Symbian phoneNokia is trying to make own free location-aware social network. For this purpose company has released a Nokia Chat application. This is generally a chat messaging application but it also shares your status and your location.
Nokia's Chat also offer voice messaging function. Additional to this everyone in your contact list know where you're now. You can tag landmarks as hotspots.

New VoIP freeware for Symbian with SIP support - Talkonaut

Yesterday was presented a new great Symbian S60 VoIP application Talkonaut. The main feature of this app is messaging in Jabber, Google Talk, ICQ, MSN, AIM and Yahoo networks. But also this is a great free VoIP client which supports VoIP over GPRS including SIP stack. This means that you can freely call with such services as Voipstunt, VoipDiscount, NetAppel, VoipBuster, VoipCheap, SparVoip and other Finarea-Betamax. If you haven't a SIP account this app offer to you cheap voice calls over IP with help of GTalk 2 VoIP service. With help of Talkonaut you able to make free VoIP calls to Google Talk users, Yahoo, MSN, AIM and ICQ voice capable IM clients, as well as to other Talkonaut users.

Java (J2ME) mobile YouTube player now available

A few days ago there was presented a great freeware Symbian S60 YouTube video player EmTube. Today we got an official YouTube J2ME mobile video player. This player can be started on wide variety of mobile phones and smartphones supporting mobile Java. This list contains Nokia Symbian S60 devices like 6120, N82, N95, N73, E65, E51, 5500, SonyEricsson UIQ smartphones like P1 and mobile phones like W880 and K800 and many others. Here the home page of Java Mobile YouTube player. This jar applet allows you to access the YouTube library, watch videos and even upload your video to YouTube service! With new 2008 year we got new awesome free applications for our Symbian S60 mobile phones. The first one is a Flip Silent application. Do you know what FlipSilent is? This is freeware app which makes phone to be muted off with one simple gesture - flip over. This is really helpful when you are in a meeting and a call starts ringing all of the sudden. You just can quickly flipover your smartphone to mute the ringer or hang up the phone call or make it go into the silent profile.
